Safeguarding

The Church of the Holy Jesus, Lydbrook recognises and values children, young people (anyone under the age of 18) and vulnerable adults as equal partners in the life and ministry of the Church, and desires to encourage them to explore, discover and live out the Christian Gospel.  The Parochial Church Council takes seriously its obligations and  responsibilities to protect and safeguard the welfare of any children, young people and vulnerable adults entrusted to the Church’s care.

The Parish Safeguarding Policy can be accessed by clicking HERE.

Our Parish Safeguarding Officer is Margaret Walford (01594 860413).  Any allegations or concerns of abuse should be directed immediately to Margaret.

Further information and support can be found on the Diocesan Safeguarding web pages https://www.gloucester.anglican.org/about-us/safeguarding/ – this page has the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor’s contact details and details of how anyone can report a concern.
